Oakland County Clerks Association

Stack of the old paper documents in the archive.

Founded in 1973, the Oakland County Clerks Association (OCCA) is a dynamic and influential organization comprised of more than 85 members from 61 Oakland County Communities.

Our organization seeks to promote professional development of municipal clerks by offering opportunities to share ideas, cultivate relationships and gain greater insight and understanding through our quarterly meetings.

A standing committee of the OCCA is the Legislative Committee which provides a collective voice for the membership on all pending or proposed legislation that pertains to the responsibilities or functions of the municipal clerk.

OCCA is governed by a five-member executive board with equal representation from a city, village and township whenever possible.
